The Idea behind the Community
Community Planet is designed to transform society, not to escape it.
Imagine living in a Community of loving, nurturing friends who live and work together as one family and live in harmony with all life. Nature flourishes on hundreds of beautiful acres, while most of the food is grown organically, using modern growing techniques and edible landscaping. Since cars are parked at the outskirts of the Community and pavement is used minimally, it's a wonderful place to play outdoors or go for a walk and touch the land. When the residents are done working in supportive, nurturing jobs, the Community offers a full array of growth, creative, and recreational opportunities. Organized sports, music, movies, just hanging out, and other fun and relaxing activities are freely available, and the residents enjoy them with friends within walking distance.
Such a demonstration Community may not be a new idea. However, a Community of this scope, utilizing the latest technology and redefining how people live together, is something that may be an answer to the problems now facing the planet.
Community Planet, what it is:

The way we live together and relate together in Community is the basic building block that is needed to transform our planet. The creation of the Community Planet model Community will enable others to see how we can all cooperate and enjoy a higher, healthier, and happier standard of living.
With media exposure, millions will be able to see and hear about a life-style that they, too, can enjoy. Future Communities built along CPF guidelines will support individuals in their personal growth, in obtaining their personal goals, and in enabling them to have a prosperous life-style through the sharing of resources, while, at the same time, addressing our global challenges.
Eventually we envision that the replication of the Community Planet models around the world will have a transformational effect on the environment, world peace, and the prosperity of all humankind as we finally learn the benefit of choosing to live together in order to address social justice issues and the "Highest Good" for All Life on our planet.
